先日発行したメルマガや twitter、facebook でご覧になった方もいらっ
しゃると思いますが、ここでも、日本語と英語で紹介させて頂きますね。
皆さんは、日本で活躍している"Monkey Majik"というバンドをご存知ですか？
４人のメンバーのうち、２人の外国人は、カナディアンだったのですね☆
彼らは、毎日津波の現場に行って本気で復興のためにボランティアをして
います。メンバーのBlaise Plantがこの災害についての歌を作り、先日、
Charity Download が開始されました。
私は、友人からのメールでこの事を知ったのですが、ここに一部彼女のメール
を抜粋してご紹介しますね。（掲載の許可を頂いています）
『ブレーズは自分の家（仙台）も住めなくなっていて、私の息子のオフィスの
3階で息子と一緒に生活していますが、毎日ボランティアに出かけています。
この曲はオフィスの1階のジムの片隅に、にわかスタジオを設置してつくった
とか。』

Monkey Majik、日本では、とても人気があるそうですね♪
2009年、『天皇皇后両陛下のカナダ御訪問』の際、親善大使として任命され、
バンクーバーに来日、両陛下の前でも演奏しています☆

This is a charity download for Japan Earthquake by Blaise Plant.
Blaise is Canadian singer song writer from a Japanese pop band
"Monkey Majik".
They live in Sendai which is affected area in Japan.
They are working as a volunteer for disaster reconstruction with Japanese people every day.
Blaise lost his house, he live with his best friend (my friend's son)
at the friend's office.
I heard that they set up a temporary studio for recording this music
in the corner of that office.

Monkey Majik is really popular band in Japan. :)
They performed in front of Japanese Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko when the imperial couple visit Ottawa in 2009.
